The GONM bike rental season begins on May 4 2026.
GONM is a self-service bike rental system that enables easy and accessible use of bicycles across all municipalities within the wider DBK Bike system (Dolenjska and Bela Krajina Bike). Users can choose between regular and electric bikes, and rentals can be accessed using either a card, a username and password, or the Mobiln.si mobile app, which allows users to track rental history and check the availability of locks and bikes. Rented biked can be returned to any of the 18 stations in Novo mesto and its surroundings.
Registration
Using the system requires registering:
- via the Mobiln.si app, or
- in person at the Novo mesto Tourist Information Centre (Glavni trg 11, 8000 Novo mesto, +386 41 202 080, tic@novomesto.si).
Package Selection
Existing and new users can choose between three different packages this year:
- Monthly Package: 5,00 € per month, valid for 30 days from the date of purchase, usable across the entire DBK Bike System.
- Seasonal Package: 25,00 €, valid for the entire season (from the date of purchase until the end of the season), usable across the entire DBK Bike System.
- Sitium Seasonal Promotional Package: 12,50 €, valid for the entire season (from the date of purchase until the end of the season), available only for Sitium system users, usage limited exclusively to bikes and locks within the MONM area.
Usage
System usage is limited to 14 hours (840 minutes) per week. Users with a valid package can check their current usage in the Mobiln.si app or via their user account on the information terminals at the bike stations.
